Gov. Bevin, Sec. Tilley Join National Reentry Experts to Discuss Criminal Justice and Safe Streets & Second Chances
The national Safe Streets & Second Chances initiative launched last year in Kentucky and three other states.
Frankfort, Ky. – Governor Matt Bevin, Justice and Public Safety Cabinet Secretary John Tilley, and leaders from the national Safe Streets & Second Chances (S3C) project will gather on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 9 a.m. EST, in the Kentucky Capitol to discuss criminal justice and to provide an update on the project.
Launched in 2018, Safe Streets & Second Chances is a first-of-its-kind initiative that tests new, innovative approaches to reentry and leverages its findings to inform better public policymaking in real time. To learn more about S3C, please click here.
